Commitment to Recovery

The First Step Is Yours And You Are Halfway There, On The Path To Healing And A Fulfilling Life-Getting Treatment

Deciding to commit to recovery with the goal of full restoration is a giant step.

If you do not have a therapist, you may want to have an initial evaluation conducted by a clinician trained in eating disorders. In choosing a therapist, be sure to ask about credentials and experience. A professional eating disorder expert should have at least a Masters degree in a mental health modality. This specialist should also be able to provide you with their background, addressing continuing education and years of experience working with eating disordered patients.
